Administrative Committee Elections announced |

Government recently announced the establishment of Administrative Committees responsible for small villages, including Santa Lucija.
Elections will be held on Saturday, 27th March 2010.
The Electoral Commission will start receiving nominations for the election of administrative committees on February 22.
The Commission said that prospective candidates who would like to obtain information regarding the procedures that they are to follow in respect of these elections should contact the Electoral Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, during office hours.
Nominations will continue to be received until February 24. Applicants deposit €90 euros and must present their identity card. |

The Electoral Commission announced that at the end of the closing period for submission of nominations for the administrative committees elections it has received the following 5 nominations for the Santa Lucija committee:
Bellamy Maria Carmela
Cassar Louis
Mizzi Joseph
Stellini Alfred
Stellini Maria
In view that the committee will be composed of 5 members, no elections will be held in Santa Lucija. |

 Finally got around to re-launch the new site. At this stage it is much more compact than the previous version but we are seeking to focus on relevant information and then gradually add to the content.
We have deployed the website on a new content management system, which would allow easier updating, by several people.
